FLIGHTS

There are numerous ways to travel to Honduras from Canada and the U.S. and numerous airline companies to accommodate travelers. There are 4 major airports in Honduras including Tegucigalpa (TNT), San Pedro Sula (SAP), Roatan (ROA), and La Ceiba (LCE). Three of of these airports are full time international airports with daily flights from all over the world and there are some charter flights from North America and Europe which land directly in the La Ceiba airport.

Although you can not book your flights directly with us, we have listed various options of flights below with some of the airline companies that fly to Honduras.  If you are travelling from Canada your best choice is to fly to Houston (IAH) and from Houston to San Pedro Sula (SAP). Once there, you can take a flight with Taca or Sosa airlines to La Ceiba (LCE) which are best booked once in San Pedro but during the peak season of travel, there are some charter carrier like sunwing which fly direct to La Ceiba.

Sunwing vacations 

Sunwing is a weekly charter that flies direct from Toronto to La Ceiba in state of the art planes with a maximum stay of 14 days and flying on Fridays beginning on December 25th 2009 

Continental Airlines

Continental flies from Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal to Houston and from Houston to Roatan (RBT) or San Pedro Sula

 American airlines

American Airlines fly from all major terminals in Canada to Houston, some direct but most indirect. From Houston to San Pedro Sula in Honduras

Delta airlines

Delta Airlines fly to San Pedro Sula from Atlanta and have many connector flights from many North American cities

Taca Airlines

Taca is Central American Airline which flies from Houston to San Pedro and from San Pedro to La Ceiba on a daily basis

Sosa airlines

Aerolineas SOSA is a local Honduran Airline based in La Ceiba with internal flights in Honduras to/from Tegucigulpa, San Pedro Sula, La  Ceiba, Puerto Lempira, Brus Laguna, and The Bay Islands of Roatan and flight schedules are designed to connect with American Airlines and Continental Airlines flights to/from Tegucigulpa and San Pedro Sula.  Aerolineas SOSA flights are best booked upon arival to San Pedro Sula and cost around $30 per person.
